Sanveen live at the The Lucky Dog Music Hall ’04
A few years ago I joined the group Sanveen. Originally, it was a trio consisting of Steve Gaffney on vocals (also the vocalist for our previous group Woodgrain Theory), Mark Guerard on bass, and myself on drums. We would often play along to soundtracks that we created on the keyboards. I helped create some of those soundtracks and actually played the piano on a couple of the tunes when we did shows live. It was a great opportunity for me to incorporate some ideas I had been working with on the keys/synth. The 2nd song posted, I played the piano, then layed down the drum tracks after. All songs were recorded/engineered by Roger Lavallee. He also contributed on a creative level such as the weird but cool buzzing sound heard in the background of the 1st tune.
